Woldingham Golf Club is set in the heart of the Surrey countryside in the picturesque but difficult to pronounce, Halliloo Valley near Caterham. Opened in March 1996 as Duke's Dene, the club has established itself as a firm favourite with golfers over the years in the local area and from further afield.

The 18 hole par 71 course is 6393 yards long and was designed by American course architect, Bradford Benz, to USGA specifications to make the most of the contours of the valley. The course lies on chalk which provides excellent drainage and this, together with the USGA greens, results in a great combination for all year round play. So whether you are simply visiting for a round of golf or thinking of becoming a member you will be able to make the most of your golf whatever the time of year!

In September 2004 Woldingham Golf Club changed ownership and became part of the Altonwood Group which already consisted of nearby Surrey National Golf Club at Chaldon and Westerham Golf Club just over the border in Kent. The purchase of Woldingham Golf Club was then followed in April 2005 with the opening of Godstone Golf Club. This brand new 9 hole full length course has quality holes and plenty of interest for the golfer including three lakes. Conveniently located just an 800 yard "drive" south down the A22 from Junction 6 of the M25, Godstone is destined to become a welcome addition to golf in the area for not only established golfers but for those who are thinking about starting out. NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT 25 August 2006. We are delighted to announce that the Altonwood Group has now completed the purchase of The Addington Golf Club. Founded in 1913 The Addington is ranked as one of the top 100 courses in Great Britain and Ireland. Membership is now available with a limited number of memberships on special offer.
